As an infantry support tank the Panzer IV D proved to be fitted for the job. Sporting decent armor (by 1940 standards) and a short 75mm gun it gave good results when used to blast holes in the enemy defense. The reliability of its chassis was also superb, as it allowed new variants (with better anti-tank capabilities) to be developed.
Introduction
This is a wargaming kit made by Zvezda in the 1/100 scale (15mm). The box art is nice and the instructions on the back show that this model has seven parts.
Assembly Process
Again it seems Zvezda knows that wargamers don’t really like to fiddle with small pieces so this kit is simple enough. First step is to assemble the lower hull which is easy as cake.
After that add the upper hull.
And next put the upper hull top plate on. Also stick the turret onto the tank, after you added to it the commander’s hatch.
And in less then 5 minutes the tank is done.
