1:100 T-26 – Zvezda 6113

The T-26 was the most numerous tank in the Soviet Union armed forces in 1941 when Germany unleashed the Barbarossa invasion. Although easy to maintain, cheap and reliable it was phased out by the end of 1941 due to its limitations being replaced by the T-60.

Introduction

This is a wargaming kit made by Zvezda in the 1/100 scale (15mm). The box art is nice and the instructions on the back show that this model has only five pieces.

Assembly Process

We start with the turret which is molded in 1 piece so it is an easy step to snap fit it on the upper hull.

After that we “work” on the lower hull and tracks, which fit easily forming the lower part of the tank.

And now the final step is just getting the upper and lower hull together and we are done! I can honestly say this is probably a new record with under 5 minutes construction time.
